The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based scheme that provides eligible applicants with support towards the upfront costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargepoints.

The scheme is open to Businesses, Charities and Public Sector Organisations (subject to eligibility). If eligible the grant covers up to 75% of the total costs (inclusive of VAT), of the purchase and installation of EV Chargepoints. The scheme is capped at £350 per socket and 40 sockets (across all sites) per applicant. 

For Schools, the grant is improved! With £2500 per socket, up to 75% off the buy and install costs.  40 sockets across all sites 

Successful applicants of the work place scheme are provided with a unique reference code that Wayre House are able to redeem on your behalf.  Wayre House are OZEV (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) approved contractors which mean we can assist you through your application of the government grant.  Installations must be completed within 6 months of voucher issue date.
